Reporting to the Country Lead Financial Controller, the role focuses on internal control effectiveness, financial data analysis, stakeholder engagement, process improvement and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit monthly and annual financial statements in line with IFRSMaintain balance sheet and general ledger accuracy
• Manage financial close, reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Support external and internal audit processes
• Maintain fixed asset registers and ensure policy compliance
• Oversee capital expenditure forecasting, tracking, and reconciliations
• Support alignment of capital investment with business priorities
• Support tax planning and local/group policy compliance
• Review tax computations and returns collaboratively
• Ensure import/export regulatory compliance
• Implement SOX and IFC-aligned internal controls
• Ensure adherence to CCBA Treasury and accounting standards
• Drive process improvements for efficiency
• Partner with finance and operations teams to deliver financial insights
• Engage with CCBA HQ Finance on technical matters
• Manage outsourced financial service provider relationships
• Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
• Provide guidance to junior members of the finance team

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant with a Bachelor's degree, or CIMA / ACCA equivalent
• HDip in Taxation (advantageous)
• MBA or postgraduate business qualification (advantageous)5 years' financial accounting experience5 years' financial management experience in a corporate / FMCG environment
• ERP proficiency essential
• Cash flow and financial data analysis
• Daily cash management and reconciliations
• Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration
• Financial risk identification and mitigation
