Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• AutoCAD and the ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Diploma or Degree in Production Management, Operations. Management or similar qualification advantageous.
• 3-5 years’ experience in a Factory or Production Management role.
• Management of over 40 people is non-negotiable.
• Experience within the Shopfitting, Wood Manufacturing or Joinery industry is non-negotiable.
• Strong understanding of production planning and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Valid driver’s license.

• Manage and oversee all factory and production activities.
• Ensure production schedules are met according to project deadlines.
• Coordinate workflow between Production, Supervisors, Project Managers, Procurement and Installation teams.
• Drive productivity, efficiency and continuous improvement within the factory.
• Monitor and control manufacturing costs, waste and material usage (understand costings & supply chain).
• Ensure quality control processes and standards are maintained throughout production.
• Manage factory staff performance, discipline, training and development.
• Ensure accurate interpretation of technical drawings and production requirements.
• Oversee material planning and ordering for projects.
• Ensure machinery, equipment and factory maintenance is managed effectively.
• Maintain safe working practices and compliance within the factory environment.
• Troubleshoot production challenges and implement practical solutions quickly.
• Assist in implementing systems and processes to improve operational performance.
