EXCAVATOR OPERATOR/DRIVER

ABOUT US:
Graylands Park is a growing company developing residential stands with full insfrastructure. We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Excavator Operator to join our team.

ROLE SUMMARY
The Excavator Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Tractor Loader Backhoe for excavation, loading, back-filling & other site works related to stand development and infrastructure.

KEY DUTIES:
Operate an excavator to excavate trenches, load materials, backfill & level ground. Carry out daily pre-start checks and basic maintenance on the Excavator.
Work closely with site supervisors to meet daily targets.
Ensure safe operation around workers, services & services & equipment. Report any mechanical faults or damage immediately.
Keep operator logs and assist with site cleanliness.

REQUIREMENTS
Valid Class 2 or 4 drivers license with Excavator endorsement.
Minimum 3 years proven experience operating an Excavator on construction or civil works.
Knowledge of basic Excavator maintanence & fault reporting. Physically fit & willing to work in outdoor conditions.
Safety-conscious & reliable. A certificate of competency is an added advantange.
