Maintenance Planner (1 Position) Role Objective:
Enhance workforce productivity and equipment uptime by effectively planning and coordinating labour, parts, materials, and equipment access.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules and detailed work packages.
Coordinate equipment downtime with production schedules to minimise disruption.
Plan and monitor maintenance activities for upcoming weeks and oversee execution.
Schedule annual overhauls and plant shutdowns.
Conduct plant inspections, supervise maintenance tasks, and perform safety analyses.
Manage spare parts inventory, including ordering and setting reorder levels.
Assist with budgeting and control equipment life-cycle costs.
Ensure maintenance aligns with OEM standards and industry best practices.
Coordinate with suppliers and provide on-site technical support.
Qualifications & Experience:
Craft Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Heavy Equipment Mechanics.
Grade 12 Certificate.
Registration with EIZ and ERB.
Valid driver’s licence.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in maintenance or engineering roles within mining, earthworks, or construction.
Experience in supervisory or leadership positions.
Familiarity with Engineering Maintenance Management Systems.

Heavy Equipment Mechanic (2 Positions) Role Objective:
Inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair heavy trucks and machinery to ensure safe, efficient operation with minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance, servicing, and repairs on excavators, loaders, bulldozers, graders, and dump trucks.
Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic faults using diagnostic tools.
Overhaul engines, transmissions, axles, brakes, and steering systems.
Conduct routine inspections and report potential issues proactively.
Maintain accurate repair documentation and interpret technical manuals.

Auto Electrician (1 Position) Role Objective:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic systems in vehicles and machinery, ensuring minimal downtime and compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair wiring, lighting, ignition, charging, and starting systems.
Install and maintain alarms, immobilisers, radios, GPS, cameras, and tracking devices.
Utilise diagnostic tools and software to identify electrical faults.

Install, maintain, and repair AC and refrigeration systems on heavy mobile equipment and fixed plants.
Perform routine inspections and diagnostics to identify faults.

Perform MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Cored welding.

Tyre Fitter (2 Positions) Role Objective:
Inspect, fit, repair, and maintain tyres on light vehicles, trucks, and heavy equipment to ensure safety, proper fitment, and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
Remove, fit, inflate, balance, and align tyres on various vehicles and equipment.
Repair punctures and replace valves.
Handle tube-type, tubeless, and off-the-road (OTR) tyres.
Inspect tyres for wear, damage, pressure, and tread depth, recommending replacements as needed.
Maintain correct tyre pressures and report abnormal wear patterns.
Respond to tyre breakdowns and emergency call-outs on-site or in the field.
