JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will be required to report to the Council Secretary and will be responsible for the following:

1. Manage effectively the identification, editing, and production of Law Reports in order to facilitate future reference;
2. Manage periodically the publication of Law Reports in order to facilitate access;
3. Manage timely the development of work plans and the implementation of the performance management system in order to monitor, evaluate and enhance performance;
4. Manage effectively human, financial and other resources in order to facilitate attainment of set objectives.

MINIMUM VOCATIONAL/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Full Form V/Grade 12 School Certificate
• Bachelor of Laws degree
• Diploma in Legislative Drafting
• Advocate of the High Court of Zambia
• Minimum of 8 years at the bar with 2 years’ experience at management level
