Job Description
Role:

This is a senior individual contributor role focused on advanced technical expertise and independent delivery. The role does not include people management responsibilities.

Core Purpose:

Provide technical, analytical and strategic insight to support the development of robust data practices, streamlined processes, and intelligent automation within the corporate Banking team.

Skills and tools:

The ideal candidates will have hands on experience with:

  • Data: Power BI (Fabric), SQL. Databricks, Data Factory.
  • Tech: Power Platform (PowerAutomate, Power Apps)
  • AI: GPT bases AI agent (Copilotstudios, Chat GPT AI agents etc).

Key responsibilities:

  • Design and build scalable data processes that extract, transform, and visualise information usingPower BI/Fabric, Dataflows, Databricks and Data Factory.
  • Act as a trusted partner to stakeholders, providing transparent communication and managing expectationsthroughout project lifecycles.
  • Own the report lifecycle,including:
  • Applying change control and documentation standards
  • Monitoring and resolving report failures
  • Reviewing usage to ensure reports remain relevant and valuable
    • Comfortable owning solutions withminimal oversight, including scoping, technical design, development,testing and deployment
    • Capture non-strategic data elements manually where required, while proactively identifying long-term strategic solutionswith internal technology teams.
    • Collaborate closely with the Lending Data team to source and integrate data from the One Data Platform(ODP) and shared lending data infrastructure.
    • Identify data sources not yet in ODP, working with the lending team to bring them into thestrategic data ecosystem.
    • Work with Data Governance todefine and maintain critical data elements for the Real Estate business,ensuring accurate recording, monitoring and adherence to data-qualitystandards.

Technical knowledge:

  • SQL: Proficient in SQL andother query languages used for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Power BI / Fabric: Strongproficiency in developing data models, reports, dashboards and end-to-endFabric solutions.
  • Power Platform: Experiencewith Copilot Studio, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
  • Azure Data Tools: Practicalexperience with Databricks, Data Factory and related cloud dataengineering components. Good to have
  • Microsoft Excel: Excellentworking knowledge, including advanced functions and data analysistechniques.

As part of our collaborative & agile culture, our working week is 4 days in the office and one day remote.
