Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking to hire a Composite Laminator to join their growing institute.
Position overview: • The incumbent would be expected to manufacture Composite moulds and composite parts for the aviation industry to the required specification. • The incumbent would be expected to manufacture composite parts from moulds using epoxy resins and wet layup techniques for the aerospace industry. • The incumbent would work in small teams under the leadership of a workshop manager.
Required experience: • Experience in the aerospace composite manufacturing industry working with epoxy resins would be required • The incumbent must be skilled in the use of hand tools
Capabilities: • The incumbent should be able to read and understanding drawings • The incumbent must be able to accurately follow product manufacturing specifications and work instructions
Educational Requirements: • Grade 12 • A minimum of min 1-year relevant experience in the manufacturing environment. • Formal training in basic machining principles
General Abilities: • Ability to read measuring equipment • Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills • Good interpersonal skills • Strong work ethic and the ability to work without constant supervision • Enthusiastic and energetic
