Commis Chef - Mnambithi

Luxury Game Lodge in Mnambithi; KZN is looking for a Commis Chef. The Commis Chef assists senior chefs in food preparation, kitchen cleaning and operational support while developing culinary skills within a professional kitchen environment. Duties: Prepare ingredients and assist with cooking tasks Maintain cleanliness of workstations Support chefs during food service Follow recipes and preparation instructions accurately Ensure proper storage of ingredients Assist with stock rotation and receiving deliveries Minimise wastage and maintain portion control Maintain kitchen hygiene standards Clean kitchen equipment after use Requirements: Grade 12 A formal culinary qualification Basic cooking techniques Knife skills Food preparation and storage Teamwork and communication Time management Hygiene awareness Ability to follow instructions accurately
