A well‑established UMA in Roodepoort is looking for an experienced Commercial Claims Consultant to manage the full claims process across motor and non‑motor commercial lines. This role requires strong technical ability, excellent broker service, and confident decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle end‑to‑end commercial claims (motor & non‑motor)

• Assess claims, validate documentation, and make accurate liability decisions

• Appoint and manage assessors, investigators, and service providers

• Maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients

• Ensure claims are processed within SLA and in line with UMA mandates

• Conduct quality checks and ensure compliance with FAIS, TCF, and internal guidelines

• Prepare claims reports and assist with claims trend analysis

Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience in Commercial Claims (motor & non‑motor)

• Experience within a UMA or insurer

• RE5 and Short‑Term Insurance Qualification (NQF4/5)

• Strong technical knowledge of commercial policy wording

• Excellent communication and broker‑liaison skills

• Ability to work independently and make sound claims decisions
