Job description

Barloworld Equipment Zambia Limited seeks a Central Condition Monitoring Analyst in Kitwe to support machine reliability, defect elimination and predictive maintenance.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Advise planners on preventative-maintenance content and execution; manage oil-sampling data and recommend interventions.
• Implement and close out condition-monitoring recommendations with customers; analyse machine telematics and aggregate data for maintenance decisions.
• Manage VIMS reports and machine-health information, including VisionLink, Technician Toolbox and Electronic Technician; manage customer backlogs and provide preliminary component root-cause reports.
• Apply condition-monitoring disciplines and share continuous-improvement practices.

REQUIREMENTS
• Full Grade 12 Certificate and a Diploma or Advanced Technician Certificate in Heavy Equipment Repair or equivalent.
• At least five years’ practical earthmoving-mechanics experience and sound knowledge of machine/component systems.
• Report writing, communication, computer literacy, MS Office and Power BI, analytical and numerical judgement, customer responsiveness and relationship skills.
• Engineering qualifications/experience and Technical Analyst experience are advantages.
