Job Purpose/Summary

Cashier Team Head: She/He will oversee the cash handling operations across all branches, ensuring efficient and accurate transactions while providing exceptional customer service. 

Job Responsibilities: -

• Manage Cashier Team: Lead and supervise a team of cashiers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure consistent performance and adherence to procedures.

• Cash Handling: Oversee daily cash receipts, deposits, and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

• Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service by resolving customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a timely and professional manner.

• Point of Sale (POS) Operations: Oversee and maintain the functionality of POS systems, including training staff on their usage, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring accurate transaction processing.

• Onboarding and Training: Develop training programs for cashiers, ensuring they are proficient in cash handling, billing systems, and customer service protocols.

• Financial Reporting: Generate and analyze financial reports related to cash transactions, identifying trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.

• Cash Handling Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement cash handling policies and procedures to minimize risk, theft, and fraud.

• Audits and Compliance: Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with cash handling policies and regulatory requirements and take corrective measures as necessary.

• Collaborate with Other Departments: Coordinate with billing, finance, and administrative teams to resolve any cash-related issues, improve processes, and enhance customer experience.

• Inventory Management: Oversee cash inventory levels, ordering and replenishing as necessary to maintain sufficient change for daily cash transactions.

• Performs all other duties as the Finance Manager, CFO or CEO may, from time to time, assign to him/her
