KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Handle customer complaints, ensure accurate transactions, and support with any other customer or cashier related responsibilities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean the checkout area prior to start of work
- Collect, check and sign out your cash float for the day
- Identify promotions and events for the day with the help of Cash supervisor
- Ensure the cash register is in good working condition
- Ensure hygiene of workplace
- Ensure the till rolls are sufficient
- Ensure merchandising units are full & ticketed
- Customer Service – positive attitude & Smile
- Ensure all goods are scanned
- Ensure the prices are correct
- Coordinate with the manager
- Customer feedback are passed on to manager
- Ensure sufficient change
- Follow end of day procedure
- Ensure all money collected are deposited with the strong room cashier before proceeding for break and before closure
- Have a good rapport with customers and co-employees
