Job Summary
We are looking for skilled Carpenters / Formwork Carpenters to join construction teams on large-scale projects in Dubai. The role involves constructing, erecting, and dismantling formwork systems and structural timber elements used in concrete construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction and architectural drawings.
- Construct, install, and dismantle timber and metal formwork/shuttering systems.
- Measure, cut, and assemble timber, plywood, and metal components accurately.
- Build molds for concrete walls, slabs, columns, and beams.
- Ensure formwork is level, plumb, aligned, and strong enough to support wet concrete.
- Install structural woodwork including frames, doors, flooring, and related components.
- Operate saws, drills, grinders, and other carpentry power tools safely.
- Work with formwork systems such as Doka, Peri, and similar systems.
- Repair and maintain formwork materials and equipment.
- Follow site safety regulations and quality standards at all times.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Carpenter/Formwork Carpenter.
- Experience in commercial or high-rise construction projects.
- Ability to read technical and architectural drawings.
- Knowledge of modern formwork systems.
- Competent in using hand and power tools.
- Strong measuring and precision skills.
- Good understanding of construction safety practices.
