The Ghana National Association of Teachers invites applications from suitably qualified Ghanaians who are goal-oriented, results-driven with good leadership qualities and enthusiasm for appointment to the following position: Caretaker (Officers Residence)
Job Purpose

• To ensure the proper maintenance, cleanliness, security, and smooth day-to-day management of the Officers' Residence, providing a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained living environment for designated officers of the Association.
  

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of the residence and its facilitate
• Identify maintenance needs and report faults, damage or repairs promptly
• Ensure regular cleaning of rooms, corridors, kitchen area, washrooms and compound
• To report faults in electrical, plumbing and utility systems
• Keep records of furniture, appliances and other assets in the residence
• Report damaged or missing items
• Assist in preparing the residence for visiting officers and official guests
• Ensure facilities are ready and functional before occupancy
• Maintain daily activity and maintenance logs
  

Qualifications And Experience

• Minimum of Senior High School Certificate (WASSCE/SSCE) or equivalent
• Certificate or training in facilities management estate maintenance or related field is an advantage
• At least 2 to 3 years experience in caretaking, property maintenance or facility management
