Responsibilities:
Proposal Development &
Strategic Programs
- Identify and track funding, partnership,
sponsorship, and business opportunities across Africa and Canada.
- Lead the preparation and submission of
high-quality proposals, concept notes, EOIs, grant applications,
partnership requests, and business pitches.
- Develop concepts and implementation frameworks
for the Voazok Agricultural Leadership Program and the GrowNext Ag
Exchange Program.
- Develop proposals and strategic plans for
agritourism training and agricultural capacity-building initiatives.
- Coordinate inputs from technical experts,
consultants, and partners during proposal development.
- Develop project budgets, implementation
frameworks, and supporting documentation.
- Ensure timely submission and compliance with
donor and client requirements.
Content Development
- Develop compelling organizational content
including reports, presentations, brochures, profiles, speeches,
newsletters, website content, and program materials.
- Support the development of communication
materials for conferences, summits, stakeholder engagements, and
agribusiness initiatives in Africa and Canada.
- Draft and edit professional correspondence,
partnership documents, sponsorship packages, and strategic communication
materials.
- Maintain consistency in branding and messaging
across all company platforms.
Stakeholder Engagement &
Partnerships
- Build and maintain relationships with
governments, development agencies, sponsors, investors, academic
institutions, agribusiness stakeholders, and private sector partners
across Africa and Canada.
- Engage with donor agencies and funding
institutions to support resource mobilization efforts.
- Represent Voazok Limited in meetings,
conferences, networking events, and strategic engagements.
- Support partnership negotiations, sponsorship
discussions, and collaboration initiatives.
- Coordinate stakeholder communication and
follow-up activities.
Business Development &
Strategy
- Support the company’s growth strategy and
expansion initiatives across Africa and Canada.
- Conduct market and sector research to identify
emerging opportunities in agribusiness, agriculture, agritourism,
investment, and international development.
- Contribute to strategic planning and
organizational positioning.
- Support event coordination, partnership
development, and business networking activities.
Qualifications &
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration,
International Development, Communications, Public Policy, Marketing,
Agriculture, Agribusiness, or a related field. A Master’s degree is an
asset.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in
business development, proposal writing, stakeholder engagement,
consulting, agribusiness, or international development.
- Strong experience in proposal and grant writing.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation
skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management
abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work
independently.
- Experience working with donor-funded programs,
NGOs, governments, or international organizations is an asset.
- Knowledge of agribusiness, agritourism, trade,
investment, food systems, or Africa-focused development initiatives is
highly desirable.
- Experience working with international
stakeholders or cross-border partnerships involving Africa and Canada is
an advantage.
