Job Details

Trade Marketing Strategy & Planning

  • Developing and presenting comprehensive marketing plans aligned with brand strategies. 
  • Defining objectives, targets, timelines, and deliverables for Principals. 
  • Promoting the business’ marketing services to Principals to maximise utilisation and drive revenue growth.
Brand Execution & Activations
  • Planning and executing nationwide brand activations, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Developing detailed activation briefs, including scope, objectives, timelines, and required services.
  • Overseeing procurement and distribution of point-of-sale (POS) materials.
  • Providing guidance and support to the Promoter Team Leader to ensure effective execution.
  • Ensuring all campaigns are delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard.
Creative Development
  • Conceptualising and designing brand artwork and marketing materials to support campaigns and activations.
  • Ensuring all creative outputs are aligned with brand guidelines and messaging.
Budget & Performance Management
  • Managing marketing budgets and ensuring cost-effective execution of campaigns.
  • Tracking campaign performance and key metrics.
  • Compiling detailed post-activation reports, including insights, ROI analysis, and recommendations for optimisation.
  • Identifying opportunities for growth and continuous improvement.
Compliance & Administration
  • Maintaining accurate records of all promotional prizes received and distributed.
  • Ensuring full compliance with the Lotteries Act and all relevant regulations.
  • Managing the distribution, placement, and tracking of POS materials.
  • Providing regular reporting to Principals on brand visibility and compliance in-market.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with Principals.
  • Providing proactive communication, updates, and solutions to queries.
  • Delivering a high standard of service and exceed stakeholder expectations. 
 
Employee Specification
Qualifications
  • Minimum requirement: A tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing or Business Administration.
  • Advantageous: Graphic Desing Degree.
  • Advantageous: Digital or Social Media Qualification.
Experience and Requirements
  • Namibian Citizen
  • Workplace Creative, design & Social Media experience
  • Strong Financial Acumen, with experience analysing data and trends, providing insights
  • Experience in promotions and brand activations will be seen as an advantage
  • A customer service orientation
  • The ability to lead a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Valid Driver’s License with own vehicle
