Reporting to the Head of Biomedical Engineering and Radiology, the selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:
What you will be doing:
- Perform preventive maintenance on medical equipment
- Conduct electrical safety testing and equipment calibration
- Troubleshoot and repair basic medical devices
- Respond to user support requests and resolve equipment issues
- Inspect, test, and register new medical equipment
- Record maintenance activities in the CMMS
- Monitor spare parts and equipment inventory
- Assist external service engineers during equipment servicing
- Support medical equipment recall activities
What are we looking for?
- Diploma or Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of medical equipment maintenance
- Good troubleshooting and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills
- Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage
