Key Responsibilities

Take ownership of the efficient handling and control of stock by:
  • Receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming stock and materials to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Picking, packing, and dispatching automotive parts accurately and within required timeframes.
  • Processing all goods received and dispatched documentation accurately.
  • Liaising effectively with drivers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring stock is stored correctly.
  • Conducting regular stock counts and assisting with cycle counts and stock audits.
  • Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages, damages, or discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised warehouse in line with health and safety standards.
  • Assisting with general warehouse duties and ad hoc tasks as required.

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12).
  • Previous experience as a Storeman.
  • Experience within the automotive industry will be advantageous.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Valid driver's licence (advantageous).
