Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Lawyer located in the Greater Accra Region, Ghana. The Associate Lawyer will be responsible for managing legal documentation, providing legal consultations, drafting and reviewing contracts, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and representing the company's interests in legal matters. This role will involve collaboration with internal teams and clients to provide expert legal advice and support for the business's operations.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Legal Research, Legal Writing, and Contract Drafting
• Been called to the Bar and be in good standing;
• A minimum of 5 years’ post-call experience;
• Demonstrable experience in litigation and intellectual property practice;
• Practical knowledge of trademark registration, opposition proceedings, refusals, copyrights, and patents;
• Strong drafting, research, advocacy, and analytical skills;
• Excellent communication and client management skills;
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Candidates with strong hands-on experience in intellectual property filings and IP-related disputes will have an added advantage
