What you'll be doing

As an Actuarial Analyst within the Pricing team, you will:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain pricing models for underwriting and risk segmentation.
• Build and optimise actuarial solutions using Python and SQL.
• Apply statistical modelling techniques, including Generalised Linear Models (GLMs).
• Analyse large datasets to identify trends and pricing opportunities.
• Support pricing investigations, reviews, and scenario testing.
• Improve model governance, documentation, and operational efficiency.
• Drive automation initiatives to streamline pricing processes.
• Contribute to reserving model development and reserving system implementation.

What we're looking for

Qualifications

• Degree in Actuarial Science.

Experience

• 3+ years' experience in short-term insurance, ideally within pricing.
• Experience developing or supporting actuarial pricing models.
• Progress toward or completion of the A100 and A200 actuarial exams.

Technical Skills

• Strong Python programming skills for modelling, automation, and data analysis.
• Experience working with SQL and large datasets.
• Good understanding of pricing methodologies, particularly GLMs.
• Exposure to reserving techniques or reserving systems would be advantageous
