A fast growing Tax & Accounting firm in Pretoria East are seeking an Accountant to join their practice. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, practical experience in an accounting firm, and the ability to manage a wide range of accounting and Tax responsibilities independently.
Requirements:- BCom Accounting Degree (or equivalent)
- Completed Articles
- SAIPA Professional Accountant (SA) designation preferred
- At least 3+ years' proven experience in an accounting practice environment
- Computer literate (Advanced Excel)
- Draftworx software experience will be an added advantage
- Strong knowledge of SARS compliance and tax submissions
- Must be fluent in Afrikaans and English
- Monthly work up to trial balance
- VAT submissions and VAT reconciliations
- Payroll processing
- EMP201 and EMP501 submissions
- Preparation of financial statements for Trusts, Individuals and Companies
- SARS income tax return submissions
