Salary: ETB 28,665 / month

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain internal financial and accounting policies, procedures, and controls.
• Prepare the company’s financial plans, annual budgets, and timely financial statements/reports.
• Manage cash flow, prepare cash flow forecasts, and perform monthly variance reporting.
• Oversee general bookkeeping operations: general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Manage capital asset acquisition, depreciation, recording, and disposal.
• Oversee full-cycle payroll functions, ensuring timely payment and managing employee insurance and benefits.
• Coordinate and communicate with the Finance Committee, Audit Committee, CEO, and Board of Directors regarding financial reporting and risk analysis.
• Assist Program Directors and Project Managers with budget preparation for funding applications.
• Evaluate and recommend financial processing technologies to meet organizational reporting and security needs.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation laws, and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, Peachtree Accounting, and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines independently.
