Responsibilities
- Teach Advanced Curriculum: Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality A-Level Mathematics lessons, ensuring all students are challenged and supported to meet the rigorous exam board specifications .
- Develop Critical Thinking: Support students in building critical and creative thinking skills through inquiry, observation, and experimentation .
- Track Student Progress: Monitor and track student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and preparing detailed reports for students and parents .
- Exam Preparation: Prepare assessments, mock exams, and coursework as required by the syllabus, helping students succeed in external exams .
- Contribute to Departmental Development: Actively participate in curriculum development, resource creation, and professional development activities .
- Pastoral Care: Provide support and guidance to students, helping them overcome academic challenges and fostering an inclusive, motivating classroom environment .
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
Grade 12 Certificate
Bachelor’s degree or higher in the relevant subject
Relevant teaching qualification
ZAQA evaluation
Valid TCZ Practising Licence
Experience
Minimum five years’ teaching experience.
Knowledge of Cambridge curriculum preferred.
Evidence of continuous professional development.
